Zeals releases the Instagram version of Chat Commerce introducing Chat Commerce to Instagram Live featuring Maki Goto by MEDULLA.

Zeals Co., Ltd. (Zeals), a leading Chat Commerce provider advocating the Omotenashi revolution, released “Chat Commerce Zeals Instagram Direct,” which allows companies to offer Chat Commerce on Instagram. Zeals is to collaborate with Sparty, Inc. (Sparty), which provides the personalized hair care product “MEDULLA”, and will hold a joint Instagram live streaming event featuring Maki Goto on 19th October. 

■ Background of the release and images of the experience
Instagram is a social networking service used by 68.1% of people in their 20s and 55.6% of people in their 30s in Japan, and the usage rate among all age groups has been on the rise for six consecutive years.*1 90% of users follow business accounts, including brands, and two-thirds of them say that Instagram enables them to communicate with brands.*2

Instagram has become an important marketing channel for companies to attract end users to their websites and create loyal customers for their brands. However, there is currently no method for them to respond to individual users who are considering purchasing products and services on Instagram as the inquiries they receive via DM come in large quantities. This has resulted in lost opportunities for customer contact and customer service. 

The newly released “Chat Commerce Zeals Instagram Direct” has been developed to solve problems for Instagram business accounts that are run by companies and brands.
